After much consideration and with a very heavy heart, the team at Chilled in a Field have taken the decision to postpone our festival until summer 2022.
We have a renowned reputation for not just being family friendly, but feeling like one big family and our safety record is without blemish. With everything needed to ensure your safety this year, we would have to cut back on much of the fun we offer for free. To make these changes we feel would be a change to the essence that makes us loved by so many of you. We would rather come back in 2022 than try and throw a party this year and lose some of the magic.
You, our guests, have been so loyal and we want to thank you for that unconditional support. No-one could have predicted the impact of the last year, so if your situation has changed and you want to be refunded, please get in touch and we will sort that out for you. If you are able to keep your tickets, we will roll them over to next year so you will be guaranteed that your ticket price will not increase.
This has not been an easy decision to take but we feel it is the right one if we are going to protect the legacy of our little festival. Thank you for your patience while we gave this decision the consideration it deserved.

Grown from the '90's London party scene we're a small, independent Sussex festival for grown up party people and their kids. With free activities for children and adults all day, bands, musicians, artists, science, theatre, performances and awesome dance music from some of the UK's top independent labels. A festival bar featuring local ales and dozens of ciders, mountains of street food, our not-for-profit festival shop, free hot showers, proper clean toilets, glamping and campervan pitches.
We're a not-for-profit social enterprise run completely by volunteers, so you can really feel the love.
Tickets are capped - to keep the festival feeling small and lovely - and we sell out every year. We're a fun, safe family festival, and we take our green credentials seriously. Bring friends, bring children, and see for yourself!
