Filled with a fantastic mix of music, drama, facts and fun, Flying The Nest is a visual feast of puppets, props and costumes. Come and enrol in ‘Hatchling College’. Learn all about native birds and how to be a good birder. Sit in your very own nest with an interactive bird to care for as the performance unfolds around you – or linger at the back and watch the colourful characters from afar.
HandMade Theatre are specialists in immersive and interactive performances for children and families. They tell stories through creative happenings and live performance, taking inspiration from their surroundings, and enjoy playing with unusual spaces. Children in the audience guide the action, and learning about the birds that live all around them and environmental issues is all part of the adventure.
